The first movement of J.S.Bach's Italian Concerto. (BWV 971).

In 1985, German Brass released their wonderful recording 'Bach 300'.

On it, this very piece was included - that actually inspired me to write for Brass-ensemble in the first place.

Since Enrique Crespo's arrangement is for a different setup, I have made this Arr. for a standard 10-piece setup (à la Philip Jones).

I think that this music should be available for as many Brass-players as possible.

It somehow sounds as if it was composed for Brass, and it's truly wonderful music.

Most Solos are played by two Eb trumpets, but also sporadically by others.

An absolute 10-piece standard!...
