SCOTT BRADLEY

SCOTT BRADLEY

(1891 - 1977)

When one studies an early Tom & Jerry cartoon, one will obviously have to recognise the genius of Bradley, who scored all the MGM-cartoons until the department was finaly closed down in 1958.

I would clearly assume that Tom & Jerry wouldn't have gotten famous if there had been no Scott Bradley!

He had a fantastic feeling for the "controlled insanity". Everything was calculated perfect.

Hannah & Barbera probably recognised the genius in Bradley rather quick and together they developed and created some of the funniest and craziest cartoons made, until this day!

Unfortunately, none of these incredible scores exist in their original state anymore.

All of the scores that you can find here; are transcriptions by R. Vang, and are created for LIVE-performances WITH film. (Including the Sound-FX!).
