Don Costa penned this and 9 further incredible arrangements for Frank Sinatra’s record “Sinatra & Strings” that was Sinatras first release on his new, own record-company reprise records.
Here one can clearly hear Costa’s remarkable talent of making difficult sound easy. He often produced “greasy” and silly music for the masses - but you could almost always hear that someone was ridiculously well in control of the arranging, if you put your ears to it. One could make a very simple version of this arrangement, if one would take away all the “extras”. That would be something that most amateurs could play as well. But - this is the hard version...
