Ferdinand David’s first Concerto for Violin and Orchestra.
David’s Op.10 breaks the row of the preceding variations-pieces, with a titled “Concerto”;
wich suggest that he meant something more profound in this piece.
Although the musical-construct stays merely the same - this is much more mature.
Andante & Rondo giocoso are the two parts.
Iwould rather call this work “performing-music” than “enjoyment-music”,
but - one can not deny that the 30-year old man could compose.
